  • How are rates determined?

    Lazy River provides convenient per person rates to make it easy for the kids to understand the cost and easily collect payments. Rates are based upon the property selected, number of nights, and the number of guests. Guests are always provided accommodation within sleeping capacity. Per person rates may increase or decrease based upon the number of guests. See our most desired packages for examples.

  • Do you have to be over 18 years of age to rent?

    YES, at least one member of the group must be 18 to rent a suite, cottage or home as per local township ordinance.

  • How much is the deposit and when does it have to be paid?

    We require a $ 100.00 per person deposit that is due at the time of the reservation. This is applied in full towards your balance. Balance is usually due 60 days later depending on check-in date.

  • How is the deposit paid?

    Deposits can be paid by personal check, Venmo, PayPal, Chase Quickpay, Zelle or cash.

  • Where do we pay the deposit?

    Checks can be mailed and cash can be brought to our Offices in either Seaside Heights or Somerset, New Jersey. Electronic payments accepted any time.

  • What is the security deposit?

    We require only a $75.00 per person security deposit. No parent guarantee required. Security deposits are returned approximately 7 days after departure provided there is no damage and the property is returned in the same condition provided.

    ​ * Security deposit returned pursuant to our Security Deposit return policy loss damage insurance. Auto Deductions would include $ 25.00 per person for Guest Protection Insurance and $ 20.00 per person cleaning. Refundable $30 per person depending on the condition the property is left in.

  • Does our first night of check in count as a day?

    Yes, like all area accommodations, the first night of check in, even if after 12:00 midnight, does count as a day of your reservation since the property must be available to you from 2:00pm.

  • Is there any Parent liability & liability to person that signs the confirmation for the rental?

    No, there is no parent liability & personal liability to the person signing the Confirmation for either the balance due or any damages. We rely upon the deposits being placed and the security deposit for damages

  • How late can you check in?

    We have on site personnel until 4:00 AM. With advance notice, we can arrange check in after this time.

  • How many guests can reserve?

    Although our various locations can hold up to 90 guests at our various locations, we recommend that you reserve in groups of 6, 12 and 16 guests. We have found that the Student liaison can much easier arrange the reservation and collect the deposits in smaller groups. Many larger groups wind up either not reserving or being too late due to the large number of guests.

  • Do you provide Security on site?

    The local municipality requires all young adult rentals to include on-site security.

    At no additional costs, Lazy River Rentals retains private independent security guards on site at all locations at various intervals throughout the day and night. Lazy River doe not hire Municipal police officers like area hotels. Our Private Security is designed to assist and protect our guests. Our previous youg adult guests have found our guards to be a great asset to our accommodations.

  • What time is check out?

    Like most Hotels and rentals in town, check out is 10:00 a.m. on the last day of departure, many guests have us store their luggage for the day to enjoy the beach or boardwalk.

  • What are the rules for a reservation?

    Lazy River requires an advance payment of $ 100.00 per person in order to place a reservation. Upon receipt, Lazy River will provide a written Confirmation, Receipt for payment and additional instructions in order for you to complete the reservation. The balance will be due 60 days after receipt of the deposit but no later than May 1. In the event, the guest is unable to complete payment, liability to the guest is limited to the loss of the initial reservation deposit.

  • When is your office Open?

    Our guest services team is available all Summer Long from 10am - 2pm Daily. 732-830-2388. Our main office is available for call or email all year round.

  • Can I purchase linens and towels?

    Absolutely! We offer multiple linen and towel packages that best suit your needs. Please ask your guest services for more information on purchasing or purchase during checkout.

  • How old do I need to be to reserve a room?

    You must be 18 years or older to reserve one of our properties.

  • Do I save money when I book directly through your website?

    As a broker owned company, we can cut costs and allow for more savings than third party websites. Our real life agents are just a phone call away and can assist you in booking properly.
